– ACL graft tear similar in
appearance as tear of normal ACL

– ACL : conventional

Technical conditions for conventional MR:

Decreasing artifacts
Increased bandwidth (maximum)
Decrease FOV
Increase frequency-encoding matrix
Decrease echo-time
No gradient-echo and no fat suprresion
1.5T better than 3.0 T

Signal intensity:

– Depends on the time between syrgery and MRI

– Magic angle effects can be eliminated with the knee in flexion
